Metropolitan Museum of Art – The Costume Institute at Manhattan's famous Met Museum is world renowned. Musée Galliera – Located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris this museum displays exhibits of French fashion design and costume from the eighteenth century to the present day. The museum's holdings contain about 70,000 items including items worn by Marie Antoinette, Empress Josephine and Audrey Hepburn. It also features many designs by Paris's most famous couturiers.
